Job Description
Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
Recent hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
Ambulatory Surgery, Pre-Op, PACU, or perioperative nursing experience preferred
Current AHA BLS or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Healthcare Provider highly preferred; must be completed within the first 90 days of employment
Strong patient assessment, pre-operative preparation, care planning, intervention, and evaluation skills
Ability to work full-time 8-hour day shifts
Must participate in required weeknight, Friday, and weekend on-call rotations; call schedule is subject to change
Must not have previously applied directly to this position to be eligible for agency submission
Strong communication, critical thinking, documentation, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
