Job description

Registered Client Associate
Rey Financial Group, located in Short Hills, New Jersey, is seeking a Registered Client Associate (CA) to join their boutique, financial planning family team. Having worked together for many years, the team is seeking someone to complement their existing practice and bring value to the areas they can grow. Pending the individual, there is possibility for growth, including moving into a Junior Financial Advisor role over time. The Registered CA role is a critical, client-facing role, communicating daily with their highly valued clients and their families. The role consists of a mix of roughly 75% client services, and 25% advice-driven work. As a Registered CA, you will support the current Financial Advisors, attend client review meetings, create meeting summaries, follow up on next steps for all priorities, and enhance proactive and reactive client service to include client onboarding and unsolicited trading. Ideal candidates are self-starters with high motivation, possess excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills. They demonstrate confidence and care when communicating with clients and work well with others in a collaborative environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with client servicing, account servicing, unsolicited trading, updating external holdings, quarterly meeting campaigns, and FA action item support.
  • Responsible for ensuring all client needs are promptly and accurately addressed.
  • Review and respond to all phone, mail, and electronic correspondence; promptly address issues and concerns with professionalism and attention to accurate resolution.
  • Responsible for all new account setups, ensuring all documentation is filled out correctly, and proactively address and follow-through on client service requests.
  • Create and maintain client files, prepare client forms and reports from rough drafts and originating correspondence as requested by the firm's Partners.
  • Assist with client meeting scheduling; join meetings with FA's to take notes and build relationships.
  • Marketing assistance re: quarterly client events, social media, and website maintenance/postings, and client birthday acknowledgements.
  • E-Money and Aladdin capabilities to update external assets and build the foundation for financial plans for our clients through these software programs.
  • Estate processing
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 7 and 66 OR willingness and ability to obtain licenses to support professional growth will be required within specific timeframe.
  • At least 4-5 years of industry experience is preferred; specifically experience in investments, finance, tax preparation, or estate planning. If not industry specific, consideration will be made for executive assistants and high-end customer service experience from other sectors.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Not registered/no experience starts at $60,000 and increases to $75,000 with licensing from 3 months of start date.
  • Registered with industry experience starting at $85,000- $125,000 commensurable with experience.
