Job description

Troy, MI - a Financial advisory practice is seeking a fulltime Client Relationship Manager to join our innovative and dynamic team.
Job Purpose:
Assists Financial Advisors and Associate Financial Advisors in managing and organizing office workflow and interacting with clients at an expert and professional level. The Client Relationship Manager is the face of the practice. Clients will rely on this role to respond to them in a timely manner and help them with all service-related questions.
Responsibilities:
  • First point of contact for client calls; handles calls when possible, or forwards to appropriate team member
  • Updates and maintains data
  • Updates and maintains data utilizing a CRM tool
  • Prepares documentation and related files in preparation and follow-up of client meetings
  • Opens all client accounts prepares applications for e-signature etc.
  • Onboards clients by getting data and inputting it into the system and gives clients a white glove experience
  • Completes estate settlements
  • Reads all posted meeting notes and complete tasks assigned
  • Conducts multiple service checkpoint calls with clients
  • Assists advisors with their managed account reviews by following up with those clients that need appointments for their review
  • Assists advisors with client letters as needed
  • Maintains a practical filing system to ensure accessibility, with value on consistency, organization and timely updates
  • Marketing events on occasion
  • Operates standard office equipment such as a copier, fax machine, scanner, computer, and printer in a proficient manner.
  • Backs up phones and receptionist
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional office environment, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Pleasant, professional and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
  • Proven independent problem-solving skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient with in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience in Salesforce is a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Strong personal and business ethics and integrity

Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary: $50K-$65K based on experience
  • Health Insurance, Vision, dental, LT and ST DI, 401k, PTO and paid holiday
