Position Summary Client Advisor

The Client Advisor plays an important role in building strong client relationships and providing exceptional banking experience. At Sonata Bank, we put our clients and community first by getting to know our clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing personalized solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. Client Advisors are trusted partners who provide guidance, connect clients with the right products and services, assist with account needs, and identify opportunities to build and strengthen relationships through networking and community outreach. This role also supports the growth and success of the branch while representing Sonata with professionalism and care. At Sonata, we value teamwork, employee development, innovative technology, and strong community connections, and we are committed to continuously improving financial experience for our clients and the communities we serve.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Understand clientsโ€™ financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Provide professional support to clients, and internal departments with account openings, account maintenance, and other banking-related needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and bring in new business.
  • Make outbound calls and follow up with clients and prospects.
  • Promote bank products and services that meet clientsโ€™ financial goals.
  • Work closely with the team to provide smooth and positive client experience.
  • Represent Sonata Bank in a professional and positive manner.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least two years of experience in customer service, sales, or a goal-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to explain information clearly to clients and coworkers.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced banking environment.
  • Ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide the right financial solutions.
  • Ability to support, coach, and guide the branch team when needed.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
  • Able to use social media to promote the bank and stay informed about the local market.
