Job description

PYA is seeking future Tax Staff to join its high-performing, privately owned firm. Apply today to be considered for upcoming opportunities and future openings within our Tax team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare income tax compliance projects for C corporations, S corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals, as well as compliance filings for tax exempt organizations
  • Prepare other tax filings, including Form 1099s, business license renewals, and tangible personal property returns
  • Collaborate with other PYA team members on transaction and succession driven consulting engagements
  • Assist our Client Accounting Advisory Services (CAAS) team in the preparation and review of client compiled financial statements and management reports
  • Participate in tax planning exercises with variety of clients

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or related field required
  • Pursuit of master degree in accounting preferred
  • CPA certification or pursuit of CPA certification required
  • Ability to apply skills previously learned through demonstrated technical agility on a variety of assignments
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to effectively work as a member of a team
  • Client-oriented work ethic
  • Openness to feedback, and a desire to pursue personal excellence
