Assembler – Manufacturing (West Side Cleveland, OH 44135Puritas/Longmead Area)

Full Time | Temp-to-Hire

Must be willing to submit to a Nationwide Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Test.

No Violent Felonies or Theft, all others considered.

$16+ per hour to start — Earn More as You Learn More!

Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm (10 hour days)
Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm (8 hour day)

Occasional Optional Saturday Overtime Available (usually 4 hours)
Crucial Link is hiring Assemblers for a respected manufacturing company in Cleveland (44135). This is a long-term opportunity with hands-on training and pay growth as you master new skills!

Position Overview
The Assembler is responsible for producing high-quality components using detailed work instructions, hand tools, and production equipment. Success in this role depends on reliability, accuracy, and strong teamwork.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Read and understand work orders
  • Update daily production using “sight management boards”
  • Identify and report safety or quality concerns to leadership immediately
  • Experience using basic hand tools and tape measure or ruler
  • Set up and operate hydraulic, pneumatic, test, and balance equipment
  • Read and follow work instructions, special notes, routings, and safety notices
  • Use ERP system for tracking part numbers, lot numbers, scrap, and locations
  • Assemble and inspect housing assemblies, impellers, and related components
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals
Requirements
  • Previous assembly/manufacturing is required.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams
  • Mechanical aptitude and good basic math skills
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for most of the shift
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
