A Clerk in the Fire Department is responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily operations of the department. Their duties typically include managing records, processing paperwork, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with the preparation of reports. They help ensure that the department runs efficiently by handling correspondence, maintaining files, and providing support to both fire personnel and the public.
