Overview
Job Purpose
ICE Clear Credit is the world's largest systemically important Clearinghouse for Credit Default Swaps (CDS). It is an entrepreneurial and aggressive organization that implements world-class clearing solutions.
ICE Clear Credit is seeking a Product Analyst to work closely with our internal Business and Technology teams to define end-to-end systems requirements for initiatives related to Clearinghouse systems.
Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed business and functional requirement specifications from existing systems, previous drafts, and SME interviews
  • Perform analysis including 'pre-development' Excel/VBA/Python based tools and prototypes that cover various what-if scenarios and use-cases that will ultimately assist with development, testing and support
  • Understand and identify dependencies/impacts to the entire ecosphere of ICCs Clearing Systems - proactively identify dependencies and impacts of changes to other clearing systems
  • Participate in overall technology architecture, design and implementation sessions with the development team, resolving questions and issues around business/functional requirements through release planning and prioritization.
  • Hands on involvement with QA and UAT test plan reviews and defining user acceptance criteria- ensuring the product delivers to its critical business requirements and objectives - and ensures high end-user satisfaction
  • Respond to technical and functional product questions raised by internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree (Computer Science, Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematical Finance etc.) preferred.
  • Must have 5+ years prior experience in business analysis or product management and worked as a liaison between Business and Technology teams as part of the SDLC process.
  • Background in Fintech or Technology, with exposure to OTC Credit Derivatives and/or other OTC products such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Structured Products, or Options.
  • Experience working within an integrated technology environment - using relational databases, REST APIs and UIs to read and analyze data. Comfortable with documenting business and system requirements including documentation of comprehensive use-cases and working within iterative software development environment. Most importantly, being an integral part of the technology organization.
  • Deep analytical mindset, problem solving skills and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to plan, estimate and deliver timeframes in conjunction with Tech leads and Project Management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
  • Should be able of evolving a product from its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to its full target state through iterative development, with a strong focus on accelerating time to market.
  • Early career professionals with the above academic credentials - working in technology departments at financial institutions
  • Data analysis - Must have advanced proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel-VBA or Python.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Github Copilot, Claude, Cursor or similar platforms.
