Clearing Grading information

What is clearing grading?

Clearing grading is the process of preparing and leveling land for construction or landscaping by removing obstacles such as trees, rocks, and debris, and then smoothing the surface to a specified grade. This step is essential to ensure proper drainage, foundation stability, and site safety before any building or paving begins. Clearing grading is usually performed by contractors using heavy equipment like bulldozers and graders, and it must adhere to local regulations and environmental guidelines.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a clearing grader?

To thrive as a Clearing Grader, you need strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of grading standards, often gained through on-the-job training or relevant certifications.
