Posted 13 days ago

Job description

CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. CALIBRE is seeking a Workstation Manager to support the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP).

Organizations with complex operations often struggle to evaluate and improve their internal processes. The Workforce Manager will analyze the Mission Command Training Program’s operating environment and help optimize workforce management processes supporting large-scale Army training exercises.

In this role, the Workforce Manager will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and management of a cadre of cleared part-time on-call personnel who augment MCTP across live, virtual, and constructive training events. These events include Warfighter Exercises (WFX), Joint Task Force-enabled WFXs, Army Service Component Command (ASCC) events, Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRX), Deployment Exercises (DEPEX), and contingency operations.

This position ensures that qualified personnel are rapidly deployed to support critical training events, enabling MCTP to accomplish its mission of preparing commanders and staff to operate and win in contested, multi-domain environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain a roster of cleared and certified part-time operators and technical personnel available for rapid call-up.

  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and subcontractors to align personnel skills with event requirements for WFX, MRX, CPX, JTF-enabling events, ASCC exercises, and DEPEX activities.

  • Manage call-in procedures including issuing orders, tracking fund sites for non-POM-funded events, and validating approvals for Risk Reduction Exercises (RRE), Command Post Exercises (CPX), and contingency missions.

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for PTOC personnel.

  • Facilitate and track operator and master-operator training for Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS).

  • Ensure certification and proficiency across systems including Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS), After Action Reviews (AARs), Perspective, Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), and ARCHER.

  • Monitor workforce readiness metrics, certifications, and qualifications.

  • Maintain personnel records, timesheets, travel documentation, and other workforce management records.

  • Coordinate with finance managers and teaming partners to support invoicing, travel reimbursements, and per diem allocations.

Required Skills
  • Expertise in workforce planning, scheduling, and personnel coordination within complex DoD training environments.

  • Experience supporting large-scale military training exercises such as WFX, MRX, CPX, or joint training events.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to facilitate discussions with leadership and support staff.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes supporting training programs and service delivery.

  • Strong communication, briefing, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and contract/program management systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP).

Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting government contracting environments with responsibilities related to program management, workforce management, or financial oversight.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD programs or training operations.

  • Experience with cost tracking, ODC management, and monthly cost reporting.

  • Familiarity with Service Contract Reporting (SCR) through SAM.gov and Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting.

  • Experience administering or negotiating data rights under FAR and DFARS.

  • Experience making contract execution or operational decisions in a government office environment.

  • U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
