Job description

Sales Engineer

Support the growth of new and emerging AI and cybersecurity products by identifying, qualifying, and advancing sales opportunities across federal, state, and local government customers. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and business development teams to align customer needs with product capabilities, support pipeline and capture efforts, and contribute to revenue growth. You will build and manage customer relationships, develop pipeline, and assist in proposal and go-to-market activities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, systems engineering, or technical sales supporting DoD, DoW, SOCOM, or IC customers
  • 3+ years of experience with complex mission-focused technical solutions, including cyber platforms or Zero Trust capabilities supporting operational users.
  • Experience generating and qualifying opportunities, developing pipelines, and engaging customers to drive account growth
  • Experience conducting customer engagements, demos, and technical discussions, and translating technical details into mission outcomes for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience developing proposals, briefings, and acquisition-related artifacts, including PWS and SOW interpretation and compliance matrices
  • Knowledge of Federal and Defense acquisition environments, including FAR and DFARS
  • Ability to support full-funnel activities from lead identification to contract execution, drive whitespace expansion, and cross-sell emerging capabilities into adjacent accounts or mission areas
  • Ability to travel up to 20% CONUS to support demos, customer meetings, and field engagements
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
