Position: ย Night Cleaner 2nd shift (Posting Number 2627-3757)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
Hours: ย ย Monday - Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm
Location:ย  District Wide
Start Date: ย As Needed
Salary:ย Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience

  • Must have knowledge of buildingย cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand/follow simple oral/written directions.
  • The right person for this position will be thorough, dependable, and in good physical condition.
  • The ideal candidate must show initiative/imagination/willingness to perform janitorial tasks.


Responsibilities:ย 

  • Must be able to perform and be knowledgeable in the upkeep of building, furniture and fixtures such as:
    • Sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing halls, stairs and entries
    • Dusting, polishing, washing furniture, walls, lavatory facilities
    • Vacuuming carpets and furniture
    • Securing windows and offices
    • Operating floor care machines
  • Securing and locking windows and office/classroom doors.
  • Operates mechanical equipment, moves, or unloads heavy furniture and boxes
  • Making complete rounds of all areas of jurisdiction daily
