Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Cleaning Validation Technician for an open-ended contract (at least 6 months, possibly longer) at a premier pharmaceutical client in Allegan MI. This position does have the potential to become permanent (not guaranteed) with an enhanced benefits package. Overview
This client is an industry-leading pharmaceutical company focused on advancing healthcare by ensuring the highest standards in manufacturing and packaging processes. In this role you’ll be working with Operations, Quality Assurance, Analytical and Microbiology laboratories, and Validation Engineers to coordinate and facilitate cleaning validation activities. This role will give you an opportunity to work across departments, develop documentation skills, and contribute to delivering safe and effective therapies to patients and their families.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7AM – 5PMEST and one weekend a month on-call (offsite and will be paid for up to 2hrs for Saturday and 2 hrs for Sunday); there may be some flexibility in start and stop times for Monday – Thursday but it will be a 4-10hr weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of site-wide swab sampling activities
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality Assurance, and laboratory teams
  • Manage inventory of swab supplies for the Validation Department and Microbiology Laboratory
  • Manage deliverables for TrackWise Cases requiring Cleaning Validation support
  • Coordinate and perform swab training for Operation Specialists and Quality Assurance Technicians
  • Develop, maintain, and conduct periodic reviews of Test Criteria and Equipment Location documentation
  • Support Validation and Cleaning Engineers during Cleaning Validation events
Qualifications:
  • No degree required but ideally 1-3 years’ experience in a regulated, preferably pharmaceutical, GMP environment
  • Swabbing experience preferred but can be trained on technique
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, SharePoint) required
  • Knowledge of SAP and TrackWise systems preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with another cleaning validation technician
