Closing/Cleaning Team Member

Availability:

  • Part-time

All shifts are expected to be between the hours of 7:30PM - 12:00AM.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour.

Role Summary:

  • The Closing/cleaning team member plays a vital overnight role in creating a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our team members and guests. This individual will be responsible for executing detailed cleaning procedures, performing light maintenance, and preparing the restaurant for the next day's operations. This position supports a high standard of excellence, cleanliness, and stewardship that reflects the Chick-fil-A brand and our commitment to hospitality-even behind the scenes.

Reporting Structure:

  • Closing/cleaning team member will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor and/or Operating Partner and collaborate with Overnight and Morning Leaders to ensure smooth transitions and readiness for daily operations.

Hours and Schedule Requirements:

  • The closing/cleaning team member must be available to work overnight shifts at least 4 days a week, typically from 7:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
  • Ability to work Friday and Saturday nights is required

  • Facility Cleanliness: Perform deep cleaning of the kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and exterior spaces using Chick-fil-A's standards and cleaning checklists.
  • Overnight Readiness: Ensure the entire restaurant is clean, reset, and ready for morning operations by completing daily cleaning assignments and logs.
  • Light Maintenance: Perform small repair tasks such as changing light bulbs, basic equipment upkeep, and reporting facility needs or safety issues to leadership.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Uphold and exceed health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling and equipment care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with morning leaders to communicate facility readiness and report issues requiring additional attention.
  • Equipment Stewardship: Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubber, pressure washer) with care and attention.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock cleaning and janitorial supplies, reporting needs in advance.
  • Time & Task Management: Stay on schedule during overnight shifts and prioritize tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Professionalism & Integrity: Represent Chick-fil-A's values by maintaining a strong work ethic, dependability, and consistency in all tasks.
