Job description

As a cleaner with Take Care Cleaning you will play a key role in insuring a clean and hygienic environment for our clients. Your key cleaner duties and responsibilities will include:

Daily Cleaning Tasks:

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Sanitize and disinfect high touch areas.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners properly.

Specialized Cleaning:

  • Perform deep cleaning assignments including end of tenancy cleaning which include deep cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and appliances.
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for specific surfaces following safety protocols.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms and ensure they are fully stocked with essential supplies.

Maintenance and Reporting:

  • Ensure tools are cleaned and stored properly and are in good working condition after use.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to supervisors.

Client Interaction:

  • Provide exceptional service by addressing clients request and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain professionalism and a courteous attitude during interactions with clients.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

  • Follow company safety guidelines including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain awareness of OSHA safety standards and contribute to zero incident work place.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and ability to go up and down stairs.
  • Punctuality and reliability to adhere to scheduled shifts.
  • Reliable transportation to different locations.

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping roles.
  • OSHA safety standards or equivalent training.
