Job description

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This position ensures all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards while supporting a safe, organized, and professional workplace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned work areas, common areas, and facilities.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and other common spaces.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
  • Replenish paper products, soap, sanitizer, and other facility supplies as needed.
  • Clean windows, doors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment as assigned.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks.
  • Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to management.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as requested.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and work effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
  • Previous cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
