Location: St. Columbkille Catholic Parish |Fort Myers, FL

Classification:Exempt/Salaried

Overview:

Saint Columbkille Parish in Ft. Myers is seeking a manager for the St. Columbkille Thrift Store.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining the schedule of volunteers.
  • Ordering and/or shopping for all products and supplies including cash register, cleaning, office, paper, pricing, snacks, and workbench.
  • Organizing social events for volunteers.
  • Work with the Accounting Manager in the collection of bad checks.
  • Work with customers returning merchandise.
  • Work with customers regarding complaints/problems.
  • Organize sales and promotions.
  • Maintain craft table.
  • Maintain order in back room/pod.
  • Clean/price jewelry.
  • Maintain bookshelves.
  • Send birthday cards and get-well cards as appropriate to customers and volunteers.
  • Simple filing, correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
