Description
We are looking for capable and reliable general laborers to join our team. You'll take direction from the project foreman to help prepare job sites, remove debris, assist team members, and perform any other general labor needed to get the job done right. You should be great at following instructions, with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities
• Sweeping, mopping, and water displacement
• Professional Cleaning of Windows, Frames, Doors, and Floors
• Operate machine scrubbing/buffing equipment for finished flooring safely and effectively
• Operate pressure washing equipment safely
• Apply wax and other floor finishes to finished flooring per the manufacturer's recommendations
• Pre-task planning and project layout based on project site walks
• Work at limited heights from scaffolding, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and roofs
• Become familiar with the use of different chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment for material-specific tasks
• Remove and dispose of all craft paper from stone and tile areas
• Remove and clean all adhesive and other surface blemishes
• Sweep, wipe down, and remove paint splatter and scuffs from floor, tile, fixtures, etc.
• Fill out daily work reports, time cards, and site safety reports as needed for sites
Qualifications
• Must be able to work up to 8-hour shifts, typically between 6 am and 6 pm, with occasional night or weekend work available
• Must be physically able to stand, kneel, work from various heights, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs without issue during the entire workday
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work on job sites throughout San Diego County
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Previous window cleaning, floor maintenance, or pressure washing experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
• CPR/OSHA/Aerial Lift/Fall Protection Certifications are a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
