Job description

About the Role:

Elite Building Services is looking to hire a hands-on, Cleaning Supervisor in the Wilmington, DE. area. Candidates must possess organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Candidates should be able to clean and lead the team simultaneously.

Location: 1201 Market Street, Wilmington, DE.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Supervise a crew of cleaners to be sure the entire scope of work is being completed.
    • Be sure all supplies are well stocked for our cleaners to use.
    • Check all dispensers each night to be sure they are all properly filled.
    • Communicate with the customer on site to see what concerns or needs they may have.
    • Schedule all carpet cleaning and floor stripping and waxing to meet the scope.
    • Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager for Elite.
    • Making sure each employee is clocking in and out properly each night.
    • Handle all call outs and arrange to cover all responsibilities.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Hours/Days of Operation: Monday thru Friday, 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Occasional weekends as needed.

Role Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Janitorial experience is a plus (Not Required)
  • Floorcare experience & Floorcare machine knowledge a plus (Not Required)
  • General commercial cleaning experience a plus (Not Required)

Transportation:

  • Must have reliable personal vehicle

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day
  • Bend, stretch, stand, twist, reach, walk & sit for extended periods of time
  • Climb stairs and ladders
