Job description

Pro Janitorial Services is a commercial cleaning company based in Long Branch NJ, that has been servicing the Monmouth and Ocean Counties for over 20 years. We are looking for a reliable and dependable supervisor to be the eyes and ears of the company and to ensure employee compliance and customer satisfaction across a variety of clients and locations.

This position reports to the Office Manager.

Responsibilities:
•Responsible for visiting and covering various locations to ensure customer satisfaction across all locations.
  • General cleaning, including, but not limited to: trash removal; dusting; cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices; sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors; window washing; Specific duties may vary depending on the List of Specifications required by the client at each location.
• Ability to provide supervision, training, and certification of new employees, as well as give daily direction and worklists.
• Must demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks.
• Perform building walk-throughs and inspections as needed
• Work with management on performance appraisals or handling any client complaints.
• Keep track of supply inventory and communicate with management when orders need to be placed.
• Maintain and repair equipment when needed.
• Must be dependable and be able to have flexible hours and work rotating shifts if necessary. Fill in for absent employees.
• These are the general responsibilities; additional tasks will be added as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prior cleaning experience is preferred but willing to train the right person
• Must own a vehicle in good working order with a driving record with no major offenses. This job requires travel in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
• Must have experience in management.
• Customer relations experience including handling any complaints, concerns or questions from customers.
• Must have good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
Pro Janitorial Services will train the employee on the proper guidelines, procedures, and proper use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.
