Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Associate / Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities. This role is responsible for daily custodial duties, floor and carpet maintenance, sanitation, and overall facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning Duties
  • Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, offices, and workspaces
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including high-touch areas
  • Clean glass, mirrors, and interior windows as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and kitchen areas
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Report maintenance, repair, or safety concerns promptly
Floor & Carpet Maintenance
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface floors
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors as scheduled
  • Scrub restroom floors and other heavily used areas
  • Shampoo and maintain carpets and rugs
  • Spot clean spills and stains as needed
  • Operate floor care equipment safely and properly
Sanitation & Safety
  • Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures

Qualifications
