Job description

M&N Plumbing Supply Co., a growing independent plumbing and mechanical wholesale distributor, is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Purchasing Analyst to support our purchasing and inventory management operations.

This position works directly with our Purchasing Manager to improve inventory accuracy, maintain clean item data, and support purchasing execution across the company.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, strong with Excel, and comfortable working with inventory systems and operational data.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve accuracy of inventory and item record in our ERP system.
  • Analyze inventory usage, stock levels, and purchasing data using Excel.
  • Assist purchasing with purchase order tracking and vendor communication.
  • Maintain item data including descriptions, units, and lead times.
  • Assist with vendor returns and RMA tracking.
  • Support inventory cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
  • Work with warehouse and accounting teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Develop Excel reports to monitor inventory levels and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (formulas, data organization, reporting)
  • Highly computer literate and comfortable working with ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments including purchasing, warehouse, and accounting.
  • Experience in inventory management, purchasing support, or wholesale distribution preferred.
  • Applicants will be asked to complete a brief Excel exercise during the interview process.

The compensation for this position starts between $55,000 - $65,000 annually depending on experience. We pay 95% of the employees’, 50% of the dependents monthly medical premium, in addition to 95% of the employee plus dependents monthly dental premium, 6 Paid Holidays, and provide a matching 401k contribution up to 4%. There are also opportunities for bonuses.
