Job description

Salary: $20 per Hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Laundry & Esporta Technician to join our Contents Division. This position is responsible for cleaning, processing, and restoring textiles and soft goods affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property damage. The Laundry & Esporta Technician will operate commercial laundry equipment and the Esporta Wash System to restore clothing, linens, shoes, and other washable items while maintaining accurate tracking and organization throughout the cleaning process.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, inspect, and process clothing, linens, shoes, and other textiles for cleaning and restoration.
  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and the Esporta Wash System according to company procedures.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols for water, smoke, mold, and odor-contaminated items.
  • Document and track customer items throughout the cleaning and restoration process.
  • Load, unload, fold, package, and prepare cleaned items for storage or return.
  • Identify items requiring specialty cleaning or additional restoration services.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry facility.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laundry and Esporta equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization of customer contents.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and priorities.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company procedures.


Qualifications

  • Previous laundry, cleaning, restoration, housekeeping, or production experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate or learn commercial laundry and specialty cleaning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple loads and customer inventories.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move laundry bags, bins, and contents items.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking and documenting customer items.


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 30-60 pounds frequently during shift. Occasional 100 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a work environment for up to an 10 hour work shift.
