Position Overview:


Field Service Technician to provide technical support and service to our customers. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for building, installing, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machinery, conveyors, and any other related equipment.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Demonstrate a Customer First mentality and maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures and always complying with OSHA regulations.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with leadership and clients regarding timelines and expectations and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while using good judgment.
  • Maintain effective and appropriate communication with subcontractors, installers, and colleagues, take initiative to problem solve and be resourceful on-site.
  • Complete assessments of projects at various stages of construction, reporting progress or setbacks to all invested parties.
  • Adhere to all client workplace expectations, including site access procedures, professional dress code, social media guidelines, cell phone usage, and site safety standards.
  • Ability to estimate project scope, materials, timeline, and implementation plan.
  • Ability to work with tools, materials, and equipment pertinent to the project at hand.
  • Participate in maintaining the successful operation of material handling equipment at Client sites.
  • Understand Client site needs, supporting parts and services work as needed, identifying system enhancement opportunities via equipment and technology.
  • Immediately work with the appropriate team members internally to ensure resolution of issues.
  • Work to consistently deliver sites above and beyond the performance agreements.
  • Plan to travel 100% of the time, traveling between cities frequently by plane or car.
  • Building, installing, and maintaining labeling systems machines and package system machines.
  • Commissioning labeling machines and monitoring equipment at pilot site(s)
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they occur
  • Participating in maintaining the successful operation of material handling equipment at client sites
  • Understanding client site needs, supporting parts and services work as needed, and identifying system enhancement opportunities via equipment and technology.
  • Working to consistently deliver sites above and beyond the performance agreements.
  • Traveling up to 100% of the time, averaging 5 weeks of consistent travel, between cities frequently by plane or car
  • Representing the company to customers on site
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repair duties on related equipment
  • Reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints

  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:
