ROOM ATTENDANT

STARTING WAGE: 15.00/hr



The Cottonwood Airport/Expo Center Hotel is located just off I-264 and three miles from Louisville International Airport (SDF), so travel is a breeze for both leisure and business travelers to Louisville. Lodging with us affords our guests premium opportunities to experience the best of the city.

Previous hotel and/or professional cleaning experience is helpful but not required -- as long as you're the right person, we'll teach you everything you need to know to exceed standards for work quality and guest happiness. To be successful, you will be a reliable, enthusiastic multitasker who can work independently as well as get along with your team and help out where needed. You will demonstrate and promote 100% dedication to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees through excellent guest service and outperforming cleanliness standards. Responsibilities:


  • Changing bed linens and making beds.

  • Dusting, vacuuming, and sweeping floors.

  • Emptying trash and replacing garbage bags.

  • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and tubs).

  • Replenishing towels, toiletries, and other amenities.

  • Wiping down surfaces like desks, tables, and nightstands.

  • Restocking items like soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, and toilet paper.

  • Ensuring in-room amenities (like water bottles, pens, and notepads) are refreshed.




Qualifications:


  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds, push up to 50 pounds

  • Bend, twist, kneel, reach overhead, climb stairs

  • Available to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
