Job description

Adecco is recruiting for Precision Assembly Technicians for a client in Auburn, NY. These positions are temp-to-hire, paying up to $20/hour depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing high-tech manufacturing company that produces fiber optic and medical device components used in diagnostic and life science equipment.
Associates in these roles may work in either a general production environment or clean room setting performing detailed assembly work involving:

  • Small parts and component assembly

  • Fiber optic cable threading and routing

  • Epoxying, crimping, polishing, and inspection

  • Working from visual work instructions and assembly diagrams

  • Use of small hand tools and digital measuring equipment

  • Quality inspection and documentation


Some positions involve extremely detailed hand work with very small components, so strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail are very important.


Previous experience in assembly, electronics, medical device manufacturing, clean room environments, PCB work, microscope work, soldering, or other precision manufacturing environments is helpful, but training will be provided for the right candidates.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
