Job description

No Time Flat Plumbing

Residential Service Plumbing Technician (Service & Sales)

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000-$6,000 based on experience and licensing.

We protect your nights/weekends for rest and family time (no on-call rotation)

No Time Flat Plumbing is a residential plumbing company based in Midlothian, serving Richmond and the surrounding areas with fast, reliable home plumbing solutions. We're in a growth phase and raising the bar: better customer experience, polished and professional technicians, stronger communication, and work you're proud to put your name on.

Our Culture: Life Time Value

We're building a place where:

  • Life: We foster long-term relationships with our customers and team.
  • Time: We respect your time (no on-call rotation) and our customer's time.
  • Value: We provide premium service and reward premium performance.

This role is ideal for a true residential service tech who can diagnose, communicate options clearly, and confidently win approval for solutions, especially someone coming from larger residential service brands (where you've already had strong sales/process training).

Key Responsibilities

  • Run residential service calls (water heaters, drain issues, fixtures/toilets, leaks, etc.)
  • Diagnose issues quickly and accurately; present options that match the home and the customer
  • Produce clean, professional work and leave the home better than you found it
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and the office, set expectations, explain pricing, and close work confidently
  • Document work and close out jobs in our field software (FieldPulse)

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of residential service plumbing experience (not maintenance-only)
  • Valid driver's license with a reasonably clean record
  • Willing to pass a background check and drug screen upon a conditional job offer
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and a "clean-cut" customer-facing mindset
  • Comfortable providing solutions (you don't have to be pushy, you do have to be confident)
  • Experience at larger residential service companies is preferred

Compensation

  • Full-time, W2 Employment
  • Pay: $25 - $55 per hour guaranteed base + performance pay
  • Dental Insurance
  • Health Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • No on-call rotation (we protect nights/weekends for rest and family time)
  • A team that's investing in technician experience and culture, not just "run the next call."
Sign-On Bonus (Based on Experience & Credentials)
  • $1,000 - 2+ years residential plumbing experience
  • $2,500 - Journeyman Plumber
  • $4,000 - Master Plumber
  • $6,000 - Master Plumber with Gas License

Why No Time Flat Plumbing?

Because not all plumbing companies are built the same.

At No Time Flat Plumbing, we're intentionally stepping away from the chaos that defines much of the residential service industry. No on-call rotations. No overnight emergencies. No running techs into the ground. Instead, we're building a high-standard, premium service company where technicians are respected, supported, and rewarded for doing things the right way.

If you're looking for a place where:

  • Your time and family life are respected
  • Your earning potential reflects your skill and effort
  • Your work environment is professional, clean, and team-oriented
  • You're not just another truck number
