Job description


Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Clean Room Manufacturing Worker, located in Fremont, CA. The Clean Room Manufacturing Worker will perform general labor including but not limited to functions of DI wash, bag and tag, leak check, LPC testing, and more. Must be familiar with full gown PPE protocol for Class 100. Orbital experience a plus.
Temporary Assignment: Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
Day Shift - Monday through Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities
  • General labor but not limited to loading and unloading various types of cleaning equipment, miscellaneous assembly, inspecting, alcohol wiping, swabbing, nitrogen dry parts, leak, function and flow testing, bagging, packaging and other duties that pertain to all areas
  • Demonstrate ability to operate air and electric drivers, LPC testing, bag sealers, and leak check
  • Demonstrate ability to operate ultra sonic wash
  • Must be able to train and work in other production areas depending on the production schedule
  • May work in the clean room the entire shift, clean line or assembly areas as workflow dictates
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), clean room protocols, and company policies
  • Maintain proper use of required PPE. This includes coveralls, boots, hairnets/headcovers/face shields, gloves, etc.
  • Work with direct supervision
  • Orbital experience a plus
  • Supporting inventory, material handling, and other production activities as needed

Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, medical devices, semiconductor, or clean room experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer and documentation skills

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and /or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, assemble, and manipulate small components
  • Visual acuity required to inspect products, read labels, monitor equipment, and identify defects
  • Manual dexterity required for precision assembly, packaging, and handling of small parts
  • Ability to wear clean room garments, including gowns, gloves, masks, hairnets, and safety equipment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25lbs occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday

For candidates in CA, the pay range for this position is $19.33 to $32.84 per hour.
