EHC is looking for a Clean Up Operator for a Client in the Woodville, TX Area


Status: Full-Time
Start Date: 08/11/2026
Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
Some overtime and weekend work may be required.

Additional Information

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • No interview required. Offers will be extended based on resume review.
  • Candidates must be available to start immediately.
  • Assignment is scheduled through 08/16/2026 with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

Job Summary

The Clean Up Operator is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout an industrial manufacturing facility. This role helps ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations by removing dust, debris, and spilled materials from production areas, equipment, walkways, platforms, and other workspaces. The position supports overall plant operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment while assisting other departments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Facility Housekeeping

  • Perform routine and emergency cleanup of dust, debris, and material spills throughout the facility.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas around equipment, conveyors, platforms, stairways, and catwalks.
  • Operate vacuums, blow-down hoses, brooms, shovels, and other cleaning tools to support housekeeping activities.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all workplace safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when necessary.
  • Support dust-control initiatives and help minimize fire, slip, trip, and fall hazards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment damage, or potential hazards promptly to supervision.

Equipment and Area Support

  • Assist in removing material buildup from equipment and surrounding areas to help prevent blockages and production downtime.
  • Support production and maintenance teams during cleanup activities associated with shutdowns, repairs, or equipment breakdowns.
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks or material handling activities as assigned.

Communication and Documentation

  • Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and other team members regarding cleanup priorities and safety concerns.
  • Complete shift logs, inspection forms, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and housekeeping improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and reliability.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Willingness to work in dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a heavy industrial environment with exposure to dust, airborne particles, noise, elevated temperatures, and moving machinery.
