Job description

The “Culinary Support Team” includes the prep cook, dishwasher, and stocking roles. Culinary Support Team members will help to support the Culinary Core team in the back of house, assisting in creating the best guest experience.

You will work as part of a team, having new and inspiring interactions with guests and team members alike daily. All this leading to both you and our customers leaving Egg Harbor every day feeling fulfilled, accomplished, and excited to return tomorrow.


Shifts start and end early, so you’ll never work at night.  Scheduling is generally flexible if you understand that our busiest days are on the weekends and holidays.  We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

We cannot function without our dishwashers and have so much appreciation for the job they do. Our dishwashers shine from behind the scenes ensuring that dishes, glassware and silverware are cleaned, sanitized and organized to keep our restaurants running smoothly. 


Additional tasks our dishwashers are responsible for (but not limited to):


  • Take on janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, such as emptying trash receptacles, cleaning appliances, sweeping, and mopping floors, restocking kitchen items.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
  • Clean garbage cans and floor mats with water or steam.
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Maintain and take care of dish machine. 
  • Understand good sanitation practices when it comes to health department and Hamco standards.
  • Maintains great working relationships with all members of the team and is able to communicate efficiently and positively.
