Job description

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Sparks Branch Manager, the Lube Driver is responsible for the safe delivery of lube products and supplies as well as other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Completes a daily vehicle inspection report electronically as per DOT Regulations.
  • Maintains accurate driving logs and records in compliance with DOT Regulations.
  • Loads and unloads delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Delivers lube products customers using proper handling procedures for lube and hazardous materials, including the use of PPE when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Completes assigned deliveries within reasonable time frames.
  • Maintains a clean vehicle.
  • May assist in general warehouse duties during non-driving hours or slower periods, such an inventory, organizing stock, or preparing deliveries.
  • Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude as part of a team-oriented work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Forklift experience required; forklift certified preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Haz Mat endorsements preferred.
  • Clean Driver's license/record.
