Apartment Cleaning Contractor (1099)We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Independent Cleaning Contractor (1099) to provide cleaning services for apartment units and common areas across our communities in the Richmond, Fountain City and Connersville, IN areas. This position operates on an as-needed basis and is ideal for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality results.Position OverviewThe Cleaning Contractor will be responsible for preparing vacant apartment units for new residents ("turn" cleans), as well as maintaining cleanliness in common areas when requested. The ideal candidate must be reliable, thorough, and capable of working independently while maintaining company standards.ResponsibilitiesUnit Turn CleaningPerform detailed move-out/make-ready cleansClean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms thoroughlyClean inside appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher)Wipe down cabinets, baseboards, doors, trim, and fixturesClean windows (interior), blinds, and window sillsVacuum and/or mop all flooring surfacesRemove trash and debris from unitsEnsure units meet move-in ready standardsCommon Area Cleaning (As Needed)Clean hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other shared spacesWipe down railings, doors, and high-touch surfacesSweep, mop, and vacuum common areasRemove trash and maintain overall curb appealQualificationsMust operate as a 1099 Independent ContractorMust provide proof of General Liability InsurancePrior experience in apartment or residential cleaning preferredAbility to work efficiently and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detailMust supply own cleaning equipment and productsReliable transportation requiredAbility to move appliances to clean behind and underneathAbility to lift up to 50 lbsCompensationPaid per unit or hourly rate (to be discussed)Work provided on an as-needed basis based on unit availabilityAdditional ExpectationsMaintain consistent communication regarding scheduling and completion timelinesComplete work within agreed-upon turnaround times to avoid leasing delaysNotify management immediately of any damages or maintenance issues discoveredMaintain professional conduct while on propertyIf you are a self-motivated cleaning professional who takes pride in delivering spotless results and understands the importance of turn timelines in property management, we would love to hear from you.To Apply: Please submit your contact information, proof of insurance, and a brief summary of your experience.
