Key Responsibilities
For Classroom Assistant Positions (4 Openings):
- Instructional Support: Help students understand and complete their daily lessons and academic activities.
- Material Preparation: Assist teachers in preparing, organizing, and setting up learning materials and classroom activities.
- Behavior Management: Actively manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement to keep students focused, safe, and on-task.
For the "Walk to Read" Position (1 Opening):
- Reading Support: Facilitate small-group reading instruction and targeted literacy interventions during the school's designated reading blocks.
- Progress Tracking: Help monitor student reading progress and coordinate with the reading specialist or classroom teachers to support student growth.

Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour) Current/Former Licensed Teacher
