Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role supports account management efforts by assisting with activation execution, maintaining strong client service standards and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth fulfillment of partnership assets. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, outstanding communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in sports marketing, activation and client service within a fast-paced sports environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnership Management & Activation Fulfillment
โ€ข Assist in managing day-to-day relationships with internal teams and partners
โ€ข Support the planning, execution and fulfillment of assigned partnership contracts, ensuring partners' goals and objectives are met.
โ€ข Attend internal and partner meetings to review partnership fulfillment status, discuss opportunities, resolve issues and coordinate upcoming programs.
โ€ข Coordinate and support partner events such as game presentations, player appearances, speaking engagements, corporate outings and community outreach initiatives.
โ€ข Assist with the planning and execution of partnership assets, including in-venue signage, digital & social media, TV & radio assets, hospitality and experiential activations.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Communication
โ€ข Collaborate with internal departments (fan development, digital, ticketing, football operations, stadium operations, etc.) to ensure timely and successful delivery of all partnership elements.
โ€ข Ability to establish and maintain strong positive working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
โ€ข Support internal teams with logistical needs and ongoing project coordination.
Administrative & Reporting Support
โ€ข Maintain organized documentation and create recap reports to demonstrate activation success and ROI to partners.
โ€ข Compile partnership recaps, midseason updates and end-of-year reports for assigned accounts, highlighting activation performance and strategic insights.
โ€ข Support team efforts to track and fulfill partnership assets throughout contract periods.
REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business or related field.
โ€ข 1-3 years of experience in sports marketing, client service, activation or agency work preferred.
โ€ข Strong work ethic, positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
โ€ข Ability to multi-task, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
โ€ข Creative thinking in developing marketing and activation ideas.
โ€ข Comfortable speaking publicly and working in front of groups.
โ€ข Well-organized with keen attention to detail.
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
โ€ข Experience with CRM platforms (KORE or similar) and sponsorship systems (Activate) is a plus.
โ€ข Familiarity with market insights and valuation tools (YouGov, SponsorUnited, Relo Metrics) is helpful.
