Job description

E.K.G Security, Inc. is looking for an observant, vigilant, and flexible person to join us as a full-time Class A Building Flex Security Officer and protect commercial properties around Atlanta Metro, GA. This is an on-call position, so open schedule availability is a must.

This is an unarmed role, and you'll earn $20.00/hour.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CLASS A BUILDING FLEX SECURITY OFFICER

You'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to calls and coming when you're needed
  • Attentively monitoring the assigned location and reporting any suspicious activities
  • Reading and writing detailed reports
  • Treating clients respectfully and providing professional customer service
  • Quickly responding to and resolving critical situations
  • Enforcing client procedures and standards

YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, on-call position. You'll come in as needed, any day or any time, to maintain 24/7 coverage and protection.


CLASS A BUILDING FLEX SECURITY OFFICER REQUIREMENTS

  • 18+ years old
  • 2+ years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
  • Ability to work any day at any time
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed (reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities and religious beliefs)
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods of time (occasionally 8+ hours)
  • Ability to pass state-required training and meet licensing requirements
  • Ability to complete crisis prevention training and other site-specific training
  • Ability to operate radios, phones, and console monitors
  • Excellent English communication and customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

An associate degree would be a plus!
