Medical Assistant Full-Time — Clarkstown Medical Associates 

Rate: Starting at $22.00 per hour

Highland Medical, a division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, recently certified as a "Great Place to Work," has an opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant to assist our Clarkstown Medical Associates practice.

The Medical Assistant works within our clinical team to provide excellent patient care to our patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming the patients in preparation to see the Physician and performing Medical Assistant duties such as taking vitals and EKGs. The Medical Assistant will also update patient information in the electronic medical records system. 

Essential Job Qualifications:

Education: A High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience: Work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant preferred

Certifications/Licenses: BLS certification (AHA) required. Current Medical Assistant certification preferred

Other: Experience using an electronic medical records system; EPIC preferred. Phlebotomy experience a plus.
