Location: Fort Knox, Kentucky
Work arrangement: Full-time, onsite
Status: Contingent upon contract award
Axyde Analytics, LLC is seeking Casualty Claims Specialists for an anticipated U.S. Army Casualty Administrative Support Services contract at Fort Knox.
The specialist will review and process funeral, burial, travel, transportation and other authorized casualty-related claims.
Responsibilities:
  • Review claims for completeness, eligibility and supporting documentation.
  • Validate calculations, authorizations, receipts, invoices and travel records.
  • Support funeral and invitational-travel claim processing.
  • Track claims through correction, approval and submission.
  • Reconcile claim records with authorized Government systems.
  • Prepare complete and auditable supporting documentation.
  • Identify incomplete or inconsistent claims and coordinate corrective action.
  • Support financial reporting, workload analysis and quality assurance.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with federal claims, military travel, DTS, DFAS, GFEBS, invoicing or financial administration.
  • Knowledge of funeral, burial or survivor travel claims is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel, reconciliation and document-review skills.
  • Experience handling personally identifiable and financial information.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet firm suspense dates.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the required background investigation and Common Access Card.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Final duties, compensation, qualifications and start date will depend upon the resulting solicitation and award.
