Insurance Claims Manager VP Vice President AVP Director Property & Casualty Commercial Lines Litigation _ .
 
Oversee Claims Department to ensure proper execution of claim policies, procedures, and Claim Best Practices.
 
• Create and implement business plans and annual budgets which include marketing, loss cost, and expense management.
 
• Manage team of Claims Directors, Managers, and Adjusters by overseeing workflow and conducting system and process improvements to enhance efficiencies and diminish inefficiencies.
 
• Reduce staff turnover and participate in recruitment and onboarding processes.
 
• Conduct Development Reviews and create developmental and skill building opportunities.
 
• Establish and refine claim management program operating characteristics, measurement criteria, and meaningful metrics benchmarking.
 
• Implement and monitor execution of reserving and settlement policies.
 
• Approve decisions regarding reserving and settlement on cases above field claim manager authority, including cases involving large losses.
 
• Plan, coordinate, and perform technical audits of field claim offices and third party administrators to measure compliance with company procedures, claim best practices, and reserving and settlement policy.
 
• Manage customer issues by delegating to appropriate individuals for quick and satisfactory resolution.
