Overview

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Associate with 1-2 years of property claims experience and a Level 1 License to join our Alberta Condo team. This role focuses on managing claims processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing exceptional support to clients and property managers.


How you'll make an impact
  • Enter and maintain claim data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy across all records.
  • Communicate directly with IA for claim updates and underwriting queries.
  • Manage claim intake, reporting, and documentation, addressing missing or incomplete information.
  • Oversee "notice only" claims, provide standard responses, and follow up to prevent E&O issues.
  • Handle below-deductible inquiries with clear, policy-compliant responses.
  • Build strong relationships with property managers and provide claims education sessions.
  • Conduct regular customer service check-ins during claims processes.

About you
  • 1-2 years of property claims experience is preferred; property claims experience/exposure ideal but not mandatory
  • General Level 1 license will be required within 3 months
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of claims processes, underwriting, and the Condo Act of Alberta
  • Experience with EPIC is an asset
