Job description

Position Overview
This is a safety-sensitive position for a Quality Gate Inspector at International Motors.
The role involves the operation of vehicles and equipment, the use of power tools, and/or the handling of hazardous materials. Due to the critical nature of these duties, which are essential for maintaining quality and production standards, strict adherence to safety protocols is required to mitigate the risk of injury, property damage, or disruption to the manufacturing process.
Schedule: Monday Through Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM OR 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Shift will be decided based on need of the company)
Pay Rate: $23.56 per hour
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the quality department in manufacturing at the plant level by auditing buses utilizing Tulsa Bus Plant Process Standards to identify defects and readiness for customer delivery. Responsible for evaluating, validating, and making judgment calls as to any quality defects on the buses as they progress through the manufacturing line.
  • Work with production team members to identify quality defects.
  • Work with production to obtain daily quality and production goals.
  • Validate rework on units prior to unit acceptance.
  • Evaluate and audit bus units for acceptance to Tulsa Bus Plant standards.
  • Perform housekeeping to maintain safety in the area.
  • Perform other duties and activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 1 year plant manufacturing experience
  • At least 3 months quality experience

Additional Requirements
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Understanding of ISO principles
  • Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day
  • This position is safety sensitive and may involve the operation of vehicles, operation of equipment, and/or involve work with power tools, or handling of hazardous materials, that could result in injury or damage to person/property/manufacturing process
