Job description

Koniag Data Solutions (KDS), a Koniag Government Services company is currently looking for a Systems Administrator (AV/VTC) who has experience supporting AV systems, ability to install and inventory complex AV solutions along with VTC administration to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. The role will require VTC administration and troubleshooting of existing systems. This position also will support yearly inventory for compliance to include various regional field offices.

What you’ll do:

  • Inventory existing hardware within current deployments and new hardware prior to installation
  • Provide VTC Administration as needed to include troubleshooting of malfunctioning systems and user support
  • Be responsible for installing system hardware and wiring according to system drawings and properly removing older equipment
  • Track scheduled meetings and ensure room equipment is functioning properly prior to and during events
  • Conduct yearly inventory audits to ensure all VTC assets are tracked

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
  • 2–4 years of experience in AV/VTC systems installation, integration, or a related field. (e.g., equipment inventory, component installation, cable runs, wiring, and room preparation).
  • Hands-on experience with VTC cabling routing and installation.
  • Ability to administer VTC systems, including meeting setup, secure communications configuration, and end-user support.
  • Comfortable collaborating with and supporting both technical and end-user personnel
