What youโ€™ll do:
  • Develop civil site plans for land development projects from concept through construction
  • Prepare grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and erosion-control designs under the direction of a licensed engineer
  • Produce and coordinate construction documents, plan sets, profiles, details, and exhibits
  • Build and manage Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, pipe networks, and corridors
  • Incorporate redlines and respond to comments from project teams, clients, municipalities, and reviewing agencies
  • Coordinate civil plans with architecture, structural engineering, MEP, surveying, and other disciplines
  • Support design standards, CAD organization, quality control, and permitting
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters
Requirements:
  • Typically, 7+ years of civil drafting and design experience, preferably in site and land development
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and construction-document production
  • Ability to independently develop and coordinate civil plan sets with oversight from a licensed engineer
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, civil technology, or a related field preferred but not required

We are targeting a base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, but is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.
