About this Job POSITION TITLE Instrumentation & Electrical Technology Instructor APPOINTMENT Appointed by the Chancellor of the College upon recommendation of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs SALARY RANGE $52,500 - $59,000 depending upon years of teaching experience and education BENEFITS RPCC offers outstanding benefits to eligible employees and their dependents including health, life, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts; retirement options; leave; paid holidays; wellness benefits; and tuition exemption for the employee and employee dependents. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY This is a 9-month, full-time position. Instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, and St.

Charles), as determined by student need and institutional demand. Teaching needs may include face-to-face/online and/or evening classes. Full-time faculty are expected to actively serve on campus committees, participate in campus activities, and participate in student advising and recruitment.

Minimum Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree (official transcripts must be submitted) or ten years field experience in instrumentation. Current knowledge of various instrumentation systems and practices. Current knowledge of industrial safety practices.

Satisfactory background check - an offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. Previous teaching experience preferred.
