Job description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Civil Structural Engineer near Rancho Cucamonga, Ca,
Position Summary:
  • The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing aboveground steel storage tanks for water, oil, and other liquid storage applications in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
  • Projects will include tank structures, concrete foundations, platforms, walkways, stairways, baffle systems, and related components.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze aboveground steel storage tanks and related structures
  • Prepare engineering calculations and supporting documentation
  • Research building code and jurisdictional requirements
  • Interpret customer specifications, plans, and drawings
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, drafting teams, and customers
  • Support projects through design, fabrication, and installation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Participate in research and development initiatives

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required
  • Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design
  • Experience with bulk storage silos and tank design highly preferred
  • Experience with industrial structures and infrastructure preferred
