Job description

Job Duties:
As a Pharmacist, you would be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care, including the review, dispensing and monitoring of inpatient and outpatient medications. You would also be responsible for preparing IV admixtures, providing drug information, conducting patient and family medication counseling sessions, supervising pharmacy aides, and participating in pharmacy and facility wide performance improvement activities.
Schedule : Monday- Friday(no weekends, no holidays) 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Vaccination : MMR/ Hep B Background Check : HRM OMH Requirements - HPC orientation and TRUST Training/CPR
Minimum qualifications:
Candidates from outside state service may be considered for hire under the hiring for emergency limited placement - Statewide(HELPS) program. Candidates must be in possession of a license and current registration to practice pharmacy in New York State.
OR
Candidates can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the current Pharmacist eligible list.
OR
Candidates from within state service may be considered for transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
