General Information This is graduate engineering work as an Engineer Intern in the investigation, design and construction of public works and engineering projects. Jurisdictions Yearly Salary **Mobile County $78,804 - $125,980 *City of Mobile $66,410 - $106,167 ***Mobile Area Water & Sewer System $75,008 - $119,912 *Salary amended 10/7/2024 **Salary amended 10/11/2025 ***Salary amended 1/28/2025 Requirements Minimum Qualification Requirements: Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in engineering. Special Requirement: Must possess a certificate of enrollment as an Engineer Intern with the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in Alabama.
