Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Solution Management is responsible for defining and executing winning strategies for service product solution offerings by targeting existing and new market opportunities; in particular, the service area(s) of Clinical Engineering, Medical Equipment Rental, Patient Handling, Asset Management, and/or Laser Support Services.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and become a subject matter expert on the overall solution offering, defined as: services and supported medical equipment included as part of the service product
  • Create, manage and innovate the Solution Business Model, to include:
    • Validate customer segmentation and market requirements definition
    • Enhance existing solutions to improve the value proposition
    • Establish return on investment analysis
    • Collaborate with and gain stakeholder approval of new/redesigned solution offerings from marketing, sales, operations, finance, legal, and others as required
    • Integrate new/redesigned solution offerings into sales process and marketing channels through development of sales and readiness capabilities and enablement tools
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish solution offering return on investment, pricing strategy, and customer value realization
    • Conduct new/redefined solution offering beta pilots with customers to ensure service product valuation
    • Research buy/build/partner opportunities and lead operational deployment planning and organizational readiness of new/redesigned solution offerings
    • Review the solution offering performance and propose recommendations for service innovation and/or potential service ramp down
  • Understand the competitor landscape and key market drivers for solution positioning and success
  • Work closely with the downstream marketing team to define and execute the go-to-market plan
  • Effectively articulate, educate and train sales and operations teams on the features and benefits of solution offerings
  • Actively review and participate inmergers and acquisitions due diligence
  • Other duties as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in solution/product management, service marketing, and strategic solution development specifically in the healthcare market
  • Demonstrated experience of taking customer-centric solution market opportunities and articulating them in the form of market and service product requirements documents that articulate customer challenges, desired value proposition, and potential solution areas
  • Demonstrated development of a clear and sustainable business model built on differentiated value prop that is vetted through a validation process
  • Knowledge of healthcare market, specifically in medical products and services solutions
  • Strong technical understanding for accountable solution area assigned: Clinical Engineering, Medical Equipment Rental, Patient Handling, Asset Management, or Laser Services
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability to be effective in working with cross-functional teams to clearly define and deliver the right solutions to market, at the right time
  • Experience and skill in collaborating and motivating people towards delivering top performance and outcomes
  • Experience interacting with healthcare management, and leading voice of customer meetings to define customer requirements
  • Experience in building service products and managing in-market solution offerings
  • Experience in calculating and demonstrating customer return on value
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to foster and maintain a high level of organizational professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Travel of 30-40%

$124,076.01 - $198,607.79

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown. For sales positions, this range combines the base salary and the target incentive pay. The actual pay offered may vary depending on several factors including geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors.
