Job description

Civil Laborers (Environmental / Site Work)
Pay: $25 – $35 /hour
Location: Woodinville, WA.

Skillforce is hiring several dependable Civil Laborers who’s ready to step up, take ownership of daily tasks, and help keep jobs moving in the field.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in civil or environmental work who can handle pipe installs, support layout, and lead a small crew while working under a foreman or superintendent.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Installing PVC and HDPE piping for groundwater and site systems
  • Supporting trenching operations including layout, grade, and alignment
  • Using laser levels to verify elevations and maintain proper grades
  • Assisting with excavation, backfill, and site logistics
  • Operating equipment like skid steers, loaders, and telehandlers as needed
  • Supporting contaminated soil handling and remediation efforts
  • Assisting with vapor mitigation system installs (piping, sumps, penetrations)
  • Keeping the site clean, organized, and moving efficiently


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in civil construction, environmental work, or related trades
  • Experience with pipe installation, trenching, and site support
  • Basic plan reading and layout experience
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, active job sites
  • Willingness to learn


Certifications:

  • HAZWOPER (preferred, can be provided if needed)
  • OSHA 10 (preferred, can be provided if needed)
