CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN MANAGER or OFFICE MANAGER
Established and expanding consulting Civil Engineering firm, based in Central Connecticut since 1962, seeks a highly motivated individual with 10-15 years minimum experience to be Design Manager, or General Manager of our Meriden Office. Potential ownership  opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
o Strong Leadership Skills

o Significant Design and Project Management experience
o Broad Technical Background in Transportation: Highway & Bridge, Hydraulics/Water Resources, or Water and Wastewater Engineering
o Business development and client management experience
o Municipal and/or CONNDOT design and construction administration experience
o Excellent oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities will include:
o Management of Design teams

o Provide Technical Expertise
o Business Development
o Client Management

B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering and 15+ years progressive experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects.
Must have a P.E. license in CT or the ability to obtain license in Connecticut quickly.
Technical expertise in either Bridge and Highway Design, Water and Wastewater, or Water Resources
