Who is GCM Consultants?
We are a local engineering firm that has been helping customers in all industries with engineering, operations and maintenance since 1994. On a daily basis you will have to:
  • Be responsible for project definition and concept development.
  • Design (calculation and sizing) of projected infrastructures.
  • Conduct analyses and perform modeling of existing and planned sewer networks
  • Prepare engineering documents (plans and specifications).
  • Prepare quantity schedules.
  • Participate to design reviews.
  • Participate to kick-off meetings with clients.
  • Participate to project management both in Quebec and outside the province.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering with specialization in hydraulics and/or road development.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure (relevant experience in the industrial/commercial field is an asset)
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

You are the one we are looking for if you have:
  • Capacity to be proactive.
  • Strong knowledge in hydraulics and in modeling with PCSWMM software.
  • Strong knowledge in road development
  • Good knowledge of government requirements (REAFIE) and municipal requirements (City of Montreal).
  • Capacities demonstrated to quickly converge in problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team.
  • Fluency in French and English required occasionally since the person will collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral.
